Disappointed

Dancing with the Stars (ABC - finale results air tomorrow - or tonight at 9:00 pm ET)

So I didn't think any of the free style performances were all that great.  I think Kelly Monaco did a pretty job in her dance.  Melissa - she has perfect lines but I was underwhelmed.  I sometimes think Tony does not really understand what to do for the freestyle -- same with Maks.  If everyone stuck to the normal ballroom dancing then it would be fine.   However, when you throw in other dance styles which are crowd pleasers it makes it a little tough.

Now Shawn - I am rooting for her BUT I think Derek (who I love) could have choreographed a wayyyy better freestyle - he didn't need the other gymnasts to be in the freestyle or any other gimmicks - he is an awesome choreographer.  He has a dynamo with Shawn.  I also think they should have done the Mambo instead of the Quickstep - it was a fabulous dance.  Or something else - maybe the Tango that Shawn and Mark did?  They are at the bottom of the leader board and they are the best dancers - good technique, fabulous choreo (usually), and entertainment.  

You know what would be weird -- Kelly winning - because I think Shawn and Melissa have been front runners this season. I loved Kelly the first season though - she is the reason I am a Dancing with the Stars fan.
